Inspections to biofouling samples have been ongoing quarterly since its deployment in July 2020. The AF+FR system developed within SeaSnake is showing promising results both with biofouling reduction and easiness of cleaning. The current samples will be removed from water in July 2021 for final biofouling characterization (e.g., weight, number of individuals of a species). New samples will be deployed in July 2021 for the second round of testing.
